ICMCCE 2025 Concludes Successfully in Xishuangbanna, Advancing Global Dialogue on Mechanical, Control and Computer Engineering

Xishuangbanna, China – December 27, 2025 – The 8th International Conference on Mechanical, Control and Computer Engineering (ICMCCE 2025) successfully concluded its main academic program today at the Daiyuan Hotel (Ethnic Garden Branch) in Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna. Held in a hybrid format, the conference brought together leading researchers, industry professionals, and students from around the world under the theme of innovation in mechanical engineering, intelligent control, and advanced computing.


Four distinguished keynote speeches highlighted the forefront of engineering research. Prof. Jizhong Zhu (South China University of Technology) presented on “The Application of Artificial Intelligence Technology in the Operation of Power Systems.”

Prof. Jianping Gou (Southwest University) shared insights into “Large-scale Model Distillation.”

Prof. Yajun Liu (South China University of Technology) introduced his research on “Process Control System Based on Data Gloves.”

Prof. Wenbing Zhao (Cleveland State University, USA) offered a critical perspective on blockchain technology in his talk titled “The Blockchain Technology: A Reflection.” A group photo session fostered networking and captured the vibrant academic atmosphere.

The oral presentation segment featured six cutting-edge reports in a compact format, covering diverse topics from oxygen-free copper surface damage mechanisms and fatigue damage accumulation models to EV SOC variation prediction, steel surface defect detection, high-speed scanning stability control for interferometers, and a web-based VR UAV performance validation (Starling Flight Simulator). Presenters included scholars from Chaohu University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Xihua University, Beijing Institute of Space Mechanics & Electrical Research, and Xi’an FanYi University, showcasing the depth and breadth of current engineering research.

After a networking lunch, participants shared that the high-quality presentations and stimulating discussions reaffirmed the conference’s role as a premier platform for academic exchange.

Consistent with the strong tradition of ICMCCE, all accepted and presented papers will be submitted for EI Compendex and Scopus indexing. The 2024 proceedings were successfully indexed within one month of publication, reflecting the conference’s commitment to rapid and stable retrieval.

The organizing committee thanks all keynote speakers, oral presenters, and attendees for their contributions, and looks forward to welcoming the global research community again next year.
